Co-infection of typhoid fever with hepatitis A, hepatitis E and dengue fever: A challenge to the physicians

Abstract
In a developing country like ours, infectious diseases contribute maximum to the
morbidity and mortality. Among the waterborne diseases diarrhea, typhoid fever,
infectious hepatitis, etc. are on rise. Sometimes concurrent infections with multiple
infectious agents may occur, which make the diagnosis and management a challenging
task. We are presenting such a case of mixed infection of typhoid fever with hepatitis
A and E infection with dengue fever and discussing pertinent issues.
